Another- "From the kitchen window" post..

Every year we have a new set of babies that appear right around this time. These little guys showed up a couple of days ago and make a daily visit.

This little birdie showed up today when I was doing the dishes and sat there the longest time..

just checking things out. (Or maybe he was just working up the courage to fly away?)

And the blackberries... these weren't taken from the kitchen window, but it's why I left the kitchen window! There are so many berries this year. I am going to pick and freeze blackberries tomorrow. Thus far, I haven't picked any berries that have made it home, but maybe tomorrow will be the day they make it back to the house.
