I was just beginning to wonder if we were going to have a winter! Sure, it's been cold, but this is the first real snow and ice of the season.. and it's beautiful out there! (provided you didn't have to go to work in it, and you still have your electric)
The sheep love the snow but they don't do so well on the ice, so they stayed pretty close to their shelter and ordered room service! With all the falling limbs today, that was ok with me. Their hay and water was delivered to their door and added on their bill. They owe me a lot of wool!
Ice was hanging from all the electric lines, tree branches, fence posts, but it was amazing to see how the ice formed on the brittle weeds.
